  • What is Cache Memory?
Cache memory is a temporary memory in your computer used to locally store (on your hard drive) information that you accessed while navigating. When you need to retrieve this information, your computer gets it from the hard drive rather than from the site where it originally came from. Cache memory thus reduces the quantity of information transmitted with the site and speeds up the retrieval and display time for information you consult while browsing.

When you're finished using Omnivox, you could therefore have personal data in your computer's cache memory. To protect the confidentiality of such information, make sure that you clear the cache memory at the end of each use.
